These people were more common in the Southern Colonies due to a high need of labor on cash crop plantations. Founder of Maryland, a colony which offered religious freedom, and a refuge for the persecuted Roman Catholics. Leader of Jamestown who introduced work ethic (no work, no food).

The answer should be manufacturing. During the creation of the federal government, one of the key questions to arise was the centralisation and extent of power. This debate was well highlighted in the differing views of Thomas Jefferson, who believed federal government should support an agrarian (farming) economy and give more power to the states, while Alexander Hamilton stood for a federal government supporting industry and banking, as well as being the superior power.
