If you imagine a clock, the minute hand would've moved for 25% or 1/4 of the clock. So we need to find 1/4 of a circle in degrees

Because a circle is 360 degrees, we can do 1/4*360 which will get us 90°

Hope this helps

there are 76 birdhouses, if 4 birdhouses are occupied, how much percent of the birdhouses are occupied?
Llana [10]
To find the percent of the birdhouses occupied, divide the number of occupied birdhouses by how many birdhouses there are in total:

4 \div 76 = 0.0526

Convert this decimal into a percentage by multiplying by 100:

0.0526 \times 100 = 5.26

5.26% of the birdhouses are occupied.
