June runs a little slower than Carlos. She ran 1/4 of a mile in 3 minutes. How long will it take her to run a full mile?
Lady bird [3.3K]
Alright my friend so if she ran 1/4 a mile in just 3 minutes then her overall time will be 12 minutes because she still has 3 more to go so basically it'll be 3 x 4 = 12

CUALES SON LOS GRADOS PARA HACER UNA GRAFICA DE PASTEL, CON LOS SIGUIENTES PORCENTAJES( 20%,50%,10%)
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

360° = 100%

Entonces, ¿a que grado corresponde el 50%? Planteamos la ecuación:

x = 50%

Si tomamos el cociente entre las ecuaciones:

x = 50% y  360° = 100%

obtenemos:

x/360° = 50%/100%

resolviendo para x, obtenemos:

x = (50%/100%)*360° = 0.5*360° = 180°

Para los otros porcentajes hacemos lo mismo.

Para el de 20% tenemos:

y = 20%

planteamos la ecuación:

y/360° = 20%/100%

y = 0.2*360° = 72°

Finalmente, para el de 10% tendremos:

z = 10%

planteando la ecuación como antes:

z/360° = 10%/100%

z = 0.1*360 = 36°

Asi, hemos encontrado los grados correspondientes para cada porcentaje.

the cost of running an appliance varies jointly as the number of watts used, the hours of operation, and the cost per kilo-watt
zhuklara [117]
Suppose:
C=cost
c=cost per kilo-watt hour
w=number of watts
h=number of hours
thus
C=kwhc
where:
k=constant of proportionality:
k=C/(whc)
but
C=15 when w=6000, h=10/60=1/6 hours, c=7.5 cents per kw/h
thus
k=15/(6000*1/6*7.5)
k=0.002
thus:
C=0.002(whc)
hence:
when
h=70*2=140=140/6=70/3 hours the cost will be:
C=0.002(6000*70/3*7.5)
C=2100 cents
C=$21

Experimental probability question! I will give brainlist if you answer correctly, but I will give 5 stars and thanks even if you
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

84% or 21/25

Step-by-step explanation:

1 is 8, 2 is 6, 3 is 9, 4 is 11, 5 is 9, 6 is 7. add the values: We get 50.

because landing on 1 is an 8/50 chance, not landing on one is a 42/50 chance, which in turn is 84% or 21/25.
