Does anyone know any myths involving the god Eros, other than the myth of Eros and Psyche? Thanks!!

History

There was the myth of how the plant crowns were made.

Apollo was walking around when he saw Eros's small bow and laughed at it. He ragged about his own bow's size. Eros ominously watched Apollo walk away with an idea.

Apollo was wandering throughout the mortal world when he saw a beautiful maiden (i forgot if it was a nymph or a mortal) when Eros shot Apollo with an arrow of love. Apollo fell head over heels in love and started to try to romance her. She ran away (forgot her name D:) since she knew that Gods aren't the best people to date.

She suddenly ran onto a cliff with nowhere else to go. She called Gaea (Mother Earth) to save her. Gaea felt pity for her and turned into a tree. Apollo was heartbroken and made wonderful leaf crowns from the tree.

That's how the trend started in Ancient Greece according to myths.

Hope this helped!

How did the citizens United case affect campaign finance options?
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

The ruling had a major impact on campaign finance, allowing unlimited election spending by corporations and labor unions and fueling the rise of Super PACs. Later rulings by the Roberts Court, including McCutcheon v. FEC (2014), would strike down other campaign finance restrictions.

Which of the following alternatives best describes the term "Racism"? (Equal Opportunity Terms and Definitions, Page 8)
nasty-shy [4]
The correct answer is Attitude, Belief, Behavior, or Institutional arrangement that favors one race or ethnic group over another.

Racism is any type of discrimination in which one ethnic group is favored over another ethnic group. It may exist in the traditionally understood sense where one race such as Caucasian believes that they are better than another race such as African people, or it can be in the form of two groups belonging to the same race perceiving each other as the worse race which often happened in civil wars in Africa.
