Opinion:
A reader could describe reading as a "positive escape" due to various reasons, some including: the reader enjoys it, is passionate about it, feels integrated in it, feels a connection, is an actual escape source from a hard life, etc.

A. I was situated in the car when I went to visit the Thames River in London.
b. I don't know if I want to go to the University of Cambridge or Oxford University, but they both seem famous. I'm interested in studying cities.
c. Great Britain has deep rivers, many of them in fact. They are not long though.
