My dearest journal, I'm confiding in you because what I am about to say is something I can tell no one. Soon, I will have to leave behind my friends, the people I would do dumb things with on occasion that we had nothing else to occupy our time, as well as my family, the individuals who have seen me grow and change since birth. I don't know what lies ahead for me but I know that I will miss both groups immensely as they were my foundation and I will soon have to start fresh. What I would give to express to them how much they mean, how much they meant- if only I could do that.
