In order to calculate the perimeter of the triangle, we have to calculate the distance between the three sets of points

The distance between (-4,1) and (1,1) is calculated as follows

distance =\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2 + (y_2-y_1)^2}

distance =\sqrt{(1-(-4))^2 + (1-1)^2}

dsitance =\sqrt{5^2 + 0}

distance between (-4,1) and (1,1) = 5 units

The distance between (1,1) and (1,-11) is calculated as follows

distance =\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2 + (y_2-y_1)^2}

distance =\sqrt{(1-1)^2 + (-11-1)^2}

distance =\sqrt{ 0 + 12^2}

distance between (1,1) and (1,-11) = 12 units

The distance between (1,-11) and (-4,1) is calculated as follows

distance =\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2 + (y_2-y_1)^2}

distance = \sqrt{(-4-1)^2 + (1-(-11)^2}

distance =\sqrt{(-5)^2 + 12^2}  =\sqrt{25 + 144}  =  \sqrt{169}

distance between (1,-11) and (-4,1) = 13 units

Perimeter of the trainable = 5 + 12 + 13 = 30 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Since this is simple interest the equation will be P*T*R=I  T=time which is 1 year. P=money invested or borrowed  (aka princable) which is 400$. R=Annual rate is 3% per year and I= Interest after the number of years (aka answer) Hope this helps :)
