Answer

given,

installed electric lamp = 2000

average life = 1000 hrs

standard deviation = 200 hrs

a)

let after p hors 10% bulb fails ,

P(X<p) = 0.10

P(X< \dfrac{x-\mu}{\sigma})= 0.10

from Normal distribution table,

P(Z<-1.28) = 0.10

on comparing

\dfrac{x-\mu}{\sigma} = -1.28

\dfrac{x-1000}{200} = -1.28

x = -1.28 x 200 + 1000

x = 744 hours

b)    P( 900 < X < 1300) =

 =P(\dfrac{900 -1000}{200} < Z

 = P(-0.5 < Z < 1 .5)

 = P(Z<1.5) - P(Z<-0.5)

  = 0.93319 - 030854

 = 0.62465

lamps may be expected to fail between 900 and 1300

= 0.62465*2000

= 1249.3

= 1249 (approx)

Each angle on a triangle pertains to the opposite side

so let’s start by solving the equations:
6 + 4 = 10
2(6) - 3 = 9
3(6) - 10 = 8

then order then look at what each of the sides is opposite to:

10 = A
9 = B
8 = C

so from smallest to largest the angles are C, B, A

If the population of a certain city increased 25% in two years, the new population was what percent of the old?
disa [49]

Answer:

125%

Step-by-step explanation:

This because if in origin the city was made up for example by 100,000 people, that was the 100% of the city. Now you add the 25% in two years and the city will be made by 125,000 people. So <em>100%+25%=125%</em><em>.</em><em> </em>

I think it's right

Chad ran a red light and hit another car. He decided to file a claim for damage
pochemuha

Answer:

Comprehensive deductible

Step-by-step explanation:

There is nothing called Premium deductible rather deductible determines how higher of lower a premium on a subject matter of insurance can be. Deductible is the amount with the insured have to bear at loss and any excess above the loss will be compensated by the insurance company.

Comprehensive deductible is the application to only to comprehensive insurance which was what Chad had on his motor vehicle. Comprehensive insurance covers majority of peril that happens to the insured vehicle. Therefore, comprehensive deductible is the deductible Chad has to bear himself before the insurance company take other losses upon theirself..

If he had $500 deductible on his car and total repair cost $700, then he will bear the $500 while the insurance company is entitled to pay only $200 as per policy statement.
