Equation is 2x (mangoes) + x (oranges) = 450.

2x + x = 450
3x = 450
x = 150

so now we have the amount of oranges= 150

150 * 2 = 300

so oranges = 150, mangoes = 300, and to check our work
150 + 300 = 450

X +2x=450
3x=450
x=450/3
x=150

there are 150 oranges and 300 mangoes

 m∠L = 5x - 28
m∠N = 3x - 10

      m∠L ≡ m∠N
  5x - 28 = 3x - 10
- 3x         - 3x
  2x - 28 = -10
      + 28  + 28
         2x = 18
          2      2
           x = 9

m∠L = 5x - 28
m∠L = 5(9) - 28
m∠L = 45 - 28
m∠L = 17

m∠N = 3x - 10
m∠N = 3(9) - 10
m∠N = 27 - 10
m∠N = 17

  x + 17 = 180
     - 17    - 17
          x = 163

m∠O = 163

The Park Protectors is a group of elementary students and teachers from 3232 schools who pick up trash at local parks. The line
pshichka [43]

Answer:

Each = \frac{15}{128}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

See attachment for line plot

Required

Determine the total trash picked

The data on the line plot can be represented as:

Trash \to Schools

\frac{1}{8} \to 6

\frac{1}{4} \to 8

\frac{1}{2} \to 2

1 \to 0

The total trash picked is:

Total = \frac{1}{8} * 6 + \frac{1}{4} * 8 + \frac{1}{2} * 2 + 1 * 0

Total = \frac{3}{4} + \frac{8}{4} + 1+0

Take LCM

Total = \frac{3+8+4+0}{4}

Total = \frac{15}{4}

The total picked by each school is:

Each = \frac{Total}{32}

Each = \frac{15/4}{32}

Rewrite as:

Each = \frac{15}{4*32}

Each = \frac{15}{128}
