1. I always wanted my parents to be proud of my achievements.

2. I often feel slightly worried about disappointing my parents.

3. I get very angry with slow moving people.

4. I am very excited by snow days.

5. I am quite interested in the NCAA basketball tournament.

All of these sentences have a preposition following the given sentence stem. It's important to note that proud should really be followed by the preposition "of". Usually people are proud of something not in, about, on, with, from, or by.

Macbeth Questions!!!
deff fn [24]
1) The witches predictions foreshadow what might happen because they are predictions that are at the beginning of the play and in the middle too, so the tension is building up as to why the witches said them.

2) Macbeth's reactions to the first 3 predictions were no other than shocked and confused. The other 3 predictions, he didn't care because he thought he was unbeatable and nothing and nobody can stop him!! But his ambitions so go down hill as his ambitions take control over him. He is a 'brave solider' at the beginning of the play, but turns into a 'dangerous' criminal near the end of the play. Macbeth's ambitions are his biggest weakness of everything.

3) Lady Macbeth is a clever, but deep down she is cruel as her husband is. She influenced her husband to kill Duncan, even if Macbeth didn't want too. The term 'coward' was used to make Macbeth have the courage to kill Duncan. Also Lady Macbeth wanted to change from being a woman to being a man, 'Come to my woman's breast and take my milk for gall' and 'unsex me here' meaning she want to have the courage to kill Duncan. She wants man power because women were know as the 'weak' ones and Lady Macbeth wanted to be the strongest one.

4) I don't know about this one, but I have some ideas about some thought.

- Macbeth feels guilty, remorse, from killing Duncan. (He has a guilty conscience).
- He starts having hallucinations, especially after the death of Banquo. He hears voices after the murder of Duncan, 'Macbeth does murder sleep' and this creeps him out. And the dagger that leads him to the kings room.
- His kingship was bad to begin with.
- Macbeth's Fate and Free will change throughout the play.

I hope this helps as much as it will help me!!! I'm sorry if I didn't help with question 4, I didn't know that one, but I did the other 3!!

Answer:

I'm not going to write your memoir for school for you, but I'll give you some tips. Think about important parts of your life and essentially just go into narrative detail on the things you feel like including. Not things that are necessarily important on the outside but things that are important TO YOU. Maybe you met your best friend very young and you want to write about them and some of the things you did together. Let's say you switched schools a lot while growing up, maybe use that as a way to periodize different parts of your life. Tell funny stories from those times, emotionally distressing events during those times you may have experienced, etc. I would say a good starting point is to write down a few of the most interesting experiences you've had or the stories that you really want to tell. If you can't think of anything, there's really no harm in making something up as long as you write it well. You could also read excerpts from popular memoirs and mimic what they did while applying your own unique perspective or twist. Some good ones include Frederick Douglass's memoir, or there's also plenty of humorous memoirs by celebrities or comedians that you can read a few pages from to get a decent idea of the framework and writing style. Even reading a bit of a fiction book told from a first person POV can spark some ideas. I hope that helps!
