Answer:

It creates an informal and familiar tone.

Explanation:

When we refer to the concept of "register" we talk about how a speaker/writer addresses the listener/reader. This can be done in 4 different ways: Informal, familiar, formal, and ceremonial.

An Informal register is identified when there is a link between the participants of the communication, they exchange information in a casual way, and colloquial language is used. However, grammar is preserved.

A familiar register implies that each participant really knows the other person and communicate in a very relaxed way. It can be seen in the way they use informal language such as slang and not caring too much for grammar, for example.

A formal register implies the use of language which is not personal, avoiding the use of slang. Grammar is respected and it has an objective approach, that is to say, language is objective.

A ceremonial register is the less common of all and it can be usually found in old documents. Some of the vocabulary present in these documents can be totally new, and that is why it can be confusing, making the reader/listener think of it as formal.

Prepared speech: the most dangerous or interesting job
Rashid [163]

Answer:

There are many interesting jobs that surprisingly exist. Brain surgery is one of them. I think that people who do brain surgeries are psychopaths because I can't imagine opening a brain myself. This job is both interesting and dangerous because if the doctor touches the wrong part of the brain, the patient will intinctly die. The human brain looks like your intestines, a pinkish jelly-like substance it's VERY sensitive. I wonder how did scientists discovered how the human brain works. How could a insignificant creature learn all by itself how it's brain works? If we could learn about our brain, then why do other animals can't? How did we discover cells? How did we create technology? This is when I start thinking, Do aliens exist? I have done unstoppable research about how did humans discovered or created technology. I have found absolutely nothing that says about that. But I do now know, that the Egyptians had drawings of aliens in their pyramids. So I now think, Did aliens gave us technology?

What does Farmer Browne mean when he says, "I reckon it's
yuradex [85]

Answer:

A person who is injured often wants to injure another in return

Explanation:

When Farmer Browne said, "I reckon it's not always like that fine scientist B. Franklin once said, "...the rotten apple spoils his companion?", he meant "a person who is injured often wants to injure another in return".

This means that someone can decide to injure other people in any way possible just because they were also injured.

A bad apple among other good apples will definitely cause harm (rottenness) to other good ones. This harm can be an injury or a bad influence.
