Which sentence has no errors in the use of quotation marks or italics?

English

Well titles of plays and movies are written in italics, so A, B, and C are immediately off, which would leave D. I would say D is the answer only because there is some accentuation of the title of the movie, although it also doesn't have italics. It's kind of a dodgy question

1. <span>Poe describes alarm bells as____
</span><span>A.Clanging
</span><span>B.Runic
C.Shrieking
D.Impelling
^
Now I was a little confused with this one as it says both A and C in the text;
</span>"...They can only shriek, shriek..." and "...<span>the clanging..." but I reasoned that it must be A because it includes the suffix 'ing' in the text while C does not.

Based on the guide to suffixes,
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

D.) Prioritization is the state of deciding therelative importance of one thing over others.

Explanation:

You can determine the meaning of prioritization in the sentence based on the suffix. The suffix "-tion" refers to an action or the action's result. Therefore, prioritization should refer to a verb, not a noun.

Answers B and C are incorrect because prioritization is referring to a person or place (both nouns).

While I am having a difficult time determining whether answer A is referring to a verb or noun, I can still safely say the correct choice is answer D based on the basic definition of prioritization. To prioritize means to idenitify as something more important than another; it does not directly involve recalling the past. Therefore, the best answer is D.
