The first step in protein synthesis is the transcription of mRNA from a DNA gene in the nucleus. At some other prior time, the various other types of RNA have been synthesized using the appropriate DNA. The RNAs migrate from the nucleus into the cytoplasm.

Transcription is the first step of protein synthesis. There is transcription of messenger RNA from a DNA gene in the nucleus during this step which means that the instructions encoded in the DNA of the genes are transcribed into the nucleotide sequence code of a RNA. This RNA is called messenger RNA because it carries a message from the genes to the ribosomes and the message is read as a codon so as to arrange the amino acids that produce the protein.

1. Why does the moon appear to change throughout each month? *
andrey2020 [161]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

As the Earth moves in relative to the moon the Earth blocks part of the sun from the moon causing only parts of the moon to light up. This BEST answers the question because B is not accurate because it doesn't describe why we actually SEE it. A might be true but it is not the BEST explained.

Hope this helps! (^-^)

Of the following chemicals, which is least likely to be biologically magnified as it moves through food webs?a.radioactive isoto
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

e.DDT

Explanation:

DDT is biologically magnified and concentrated as it moves through the food web. This increase in concentration is due to Metabolism of DDT which excretes more slowly than the nutrients which moves from one trophic level to  next. so DDT accumulates in the body especially in the Fats.

-BARSIC- [3]

The moon has a higher maximum surface temperature compared to Earth (253 degrees of moon to 136 degrees of Earth), but this also depends on night (which is colder) or day (which is hotter).

The moon has such extreme temperatures because it has no atmosphere that can "reflect" some of the heat from the sun, whereas the earth does.
