Part 1: 'And it was, indeed, a long time before I learned to distinguish between the operations of my various senses'

Part 2: 'I knew, and could distinguish, nothing; but, feeling pain invade me on all sides, I sat down and wept.'

Part 3: 'Sometimes I wished to express my sensations in my own mode, but the uncouth and inaeticulate sounds'

What quality of the locomotives does the consonance of the r sound in the sentence below suggest?
velikii [3]
The repetition of the r sound in "heaR", "Rushing", "RoaRing", and "shRill" suggests the image and sound of the train rushing past. When something fast moves by you, there's a rush of air that flies by, and this sound and movement of air, mixed with the grinding of the train on the tracks is meant to be represented by the 'r' sound, based on the consonance in the line.

What type of punctuation should not typically be used in any kind of formal or professional writing
Gala2k [10]
Certain types of punctuation that should not typically be used in formal or professional writing are the following..
Too many dashes or hyphens,( they tend to confuse the reader)
Too many commas, ( they make your writing choppy and confusing)
Unnecessary quotes,( they especially are not food when you pick one that is not pertaining to the topic)
Also, Ampersands( also known as symbols,or emoji's, except in writing, very un-professional, as well as confusing for the reader). Hope this helped! Have a good day!
