Two changes that have made the voting system more democratic include the 15th and 19th amendments.

The 15th amendment states that a person can't be stopped from voting based on race, color, or past servitude. This amendment was passed right after the Civil War and helped African-Americans gain the right to vote.

The 19th amendment discusses how citizens can't be denied their rights based on their sex. This allows women the right to vote.

Both of these amendments help make the voting system more democratic because they allow for more individuals in American society to influence who leads our country.
