The vascular seedless plants are utilized as the medicinal plant and fertilizer.

Further Explanation:

The vascular plants are those plants that possess xylem and phloem for the transport of water and food respectively. Plants that have vascular system but are seedless are the members of Pteridophytes.

The characteristics of Pteridophytes:

1. They are seedless and vascular cryptogams: They reproduces through the production of spores.

2. They show alternation of generation as the sporophytic generation alternates with the gametophytic generation: Sporophyte possess true root, stem and leaves.

3. Spores are developed in the sporangia. Both type of spores are developed- homosporous and heterosporous.

4. Sex organs are multicellular and are jacketed.

Some of the example of Pteridophytes are:

1. Equisetum

2. Salvinia

3. Dicksonia

4. Selaginella

The importance of pteridophytes:

1. They are used as cattle feed

2. They are used for medicinal purpose. For example the foliage decoction of Lycopodium is utilized in homeopathy to treat certain disease such as constipation, eczema, diarrhea and inflammation of liver. Equisetumcontains various flavonoid and saponina that have diuretic effect.

3. Marsilea contains starch and are consumed by people as food in some areas.

4. Aquatic pteridophyte such as Azollaare used as a very good biofertiliser.

By far the greatest impact of seedless vascular plants on human life, however, comes from their extinct progenitors. The tall club mosses, horsetails, and tree-like ferns that flourished in the swampy forests of the Carboniferous period gave rise to large deposits of coal throughout the world.

1. Contraction of the iliacus and psoas major produces flexion of the hip joint

2. quadriceps femoris muscle group

3. A combination of gluteal and thigh muscles also adduct, abduct, and rotate the thigh and lower leg. The tensor fascia latae is a thick, squarish muscle in the superior aspect of the lateral thigh. It acts as a synergist of the gluteus medius and iliopsoas in flexing and abducting the thigh.

4. triceps brachii

5. The major muscle that laterally flexes and rotates the head is the sternocleidomastoid

6. Rectus abdominis

7. The external obliques are the outermost abdominal muscles. They are also key participants in spinal flexion and the compression of the viscera. Individually, they act alongside the internal obliques in lateral flexion and spinal rotation.

8. abdominal external oblique muscle

Compare and contrast how water and air respond to heat
Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

air warms up, the molecules start to vibrate and bump into each other, increasing the space around each molecule. Because each molecule uses more space for motion, the air expands and becomes less dense (lighter). ... The opposite effect happens when air cools.

Explanation:

temperature of the air drops off very rapidly at first, but with every drop in temperature, it gives off less energy during the next interval of time, so the rate of cooling decreases. In contrast, the water cools very, very slowly; the energy it emits is a drop in the bucket (so to speak) compared to the total amount of energy in the whole cubic meter, so the temperature change is small.
