I would think the answer is A, though this is a hard question to answer.  But using deductive reasoning, we can answer it pretty well.  The reason B and D wouldn't work is because we both know that the Greenhouse Gases and the Greenhouse Effect itself is making the Earth go through it's warm cycle just a tad faster than it should, so to say that the gases are causing the earth to become colder doesn't make sense, so B and D are no longer options, which leaves you with A and C.  Although it makes sense to say that the gases would radiate the heat, it doesn't make sense to say that the heat is being radiated out of the atmosphere and into outerspace, because the actual issue is the fact that the gases are trapping the heat, so therefore C doesn't make much sense either, which leaves us with A.  To explain why A works, you can say exactly what A says:  The gases are absorbing and trapping the heat, which is causing the earth and climates in the earth to become warmer.

I hope I helped!  And if you see a problem with my answer or need more information from it, please tell me!  :D

Answer:

D. all of the above

Explanation:

The water molecules have surrounded salt (NaCl) ions in the given diagram.

Salt get dissolve in water as both are polar, having positive and negative charges and both have electrical charges. Covalent bonds in water molecules are more stronger than the ionic bonds of salts, that is why salt dissolve in water.

Water molecules and salt molecules form electrostatic interaction in which the positively charges ends of water molecules are attracted to the negative chloride ions (Cl- ion) while negative ends of the water molecules are attracted to the positive sodium ion (Na+ ion).

Water molecule breaks the ionic bond between sodium and chloride ions. Water molecules form hydration shell around sodium (Na+) and calcium (Cl-) ions and allow the salt to dissolve in water and forma homogeneous solution.

Hence, the correct option is "D. All of the above".

your lab group is studying the lac operon. you perform a mutagenesis and plate out the resulting bacterial colonies on medium co
Contact [7]

It is likely that the light blue colonies have a mutation in GENE I (lacI gene). LacI (lactose inhibitor) is a DNA-binding factor that represses transcription of the lac operon.

The lacI gene (regulatory gene for lac operon) is a gene located upstream of the three genes of the lac operon (i.e., lacZ, lacY, and lacA), which are transcribed as a unit.

The inducer of the lac operon is allolactose. When lactose is present, a small amount of this molecule is converted to allolactose.

The lac repressor, which is encoded by the lacI gene, binds to the operator upstream of the lac operon, thereby preventing its transcription unless the inducer is present.

Finally, the lacZ gene produces an enzyme called β-galactosidase, while X-gal is a blue-colored product precipitated when a bacterial colony expresses a functional β-galactosidase.
