Hello. This question is incomplete. The full question is:

"Which description shows the best balance of physical, social, and mental/emotional health?

A. April has low self-esteem because of her weight and is working on making more friends.  B. Barbara plays hockey, eats well, and has frequent conflicts with her teammates.  C. Marta has a large circle of friends and eats primarily junk food and chocolate.  D. Terrence exercises for 30 minutes a day, eats well, and enjoys new challenges."

Answer:

D. Terrence exercises for 30 minutes a day, eats well, and enjoys new challenges.

Explanation:

It is common to think that health is only related to physical health and for that reason we are only concerned with an exercise routine and healthy eating. Well, this is wrong. To be considered a healthy organism and with low risk of contracting diseases, we must consider, along with physical health, mental / emotional and social health. We must maintain a balance between the three and cultivate behaviors that benefit them equally.

Among the options given in the question above, the one that shows a clear example of someone who is maintaining a balance between mental, social and physical health is the letter D, where Terrence exercises for 30 minutes a day, eats well and enjoys new challenges.

What are fallopian tubes and how do they work? Also what is the egg? ALso what is sperm?
Andrei [34K]
Fallopian tubes - a pair of tubes where eggs travel from the ovaries to the uterus
The egg is dropped and travels down the tube, if the woman has sex and sperm attached, the egg stays in the uterus and grows a baby, if the woman doesn’t receive sperm, she gets her period. The egg is something a woman has by the time she is born. When she has sex and sperm gets attached, what I said above happens. The sperm is what comes from a man during ejaculation, and fertilizes the egg.

What can you do to avoid burns start with cleanliness ?
True [87]
Well there is a lot of things that can burn you especially when you are cleaning because you might be using a certain type of chemicals that can burn your skin so with that you have to wear gloves which is one of the safety you need to follow when dealing with chemicals. Some of the chemicals, if exposed to your skin, can burn it so always wear protection. When you are in the kitchen cooking especially if you are dealing with hot oil, you should always wear glove protection so you don't burn a certain body part. So when dealing things like cleaning and cooking, you should always wear protection so you don't get injured.

Hope this helped :)<span />
