It's 14.. basically with absolute numbers if there is a negative number inside it will be changed to positive but if a positive is inside it stays positive. only time the number is negative is if their is a positive number or negative number inside with a negative sign outside of the absolute.

Which is the equation of a circle with its center at (-4,2) and a radius of 4?
Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer:

(x +4)^2 + (y-2)^2 = 16

Step-by-step explanation:

We can write the equation for a circle with the formula

(x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2

Where (h,k) is the center and r is the radius

We know the center is at (-4,2) and the radius is 4

(x- -4)^2 + (y-2)^2 = 4^2

(x +4)^2 + (y-2)^2 = 16

A cylindrical juice container has the dimensions shown below.
Savatey [412]

Answer:

C is the answer

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the area of the circle -

Use pi times r^2

Since the answers are in pi form, we just need to do the "r^2" part. 3 is the radius, so 3 x 3 = 9. Now that we have found the area of the circle, we will need to multiply the area of the circle by the height of the cylinder. (9pi)(9) = 81pi cubic units. 81pi cubic units is the answer.
