The tropical regions are mostly found on latitudes between 0 and 23 degrees.

Explanation:

A tropical region is a region where some of the tropical type of climates dominates. These climates are characterized by being warm throughout all of the year, with small to no variations in the average temperature across the year. There are differences between the tropical climates though, with some being warm and wet, while others are hot and very dry. Climate types that fall into this category are:

  • tropical montane
  • tropical wet
  • tropical moist
  • tropical dry

There are several regions in the world that have some of these climate types, and in general they are located between the Equator and 23 degrees of latitude, both north and south. Africa as a continent almost entirely is dominated by these climates. Central America, the Caribbean, and central and northern South America too are dominated by tropical climates. On the other side of the world, big portion of Australia, most of Southeast Asia, and Oceania have tropical type of climates.

One way people have addressed water shortages in certain areas is by building desalinization plants to remove salt from sea wate
Andre45 [30]
My guess would be Los Angeles because they have been known to have serious, long term droughts. They are also on the west coast, so they have plenty of ocean water that could be used for desalination.
