<span>Vietnam was a colony attempting to gain independence.

The conflict began as an independence movement of the Vietnamese against the French who held Vietnam as a colony since 1887.

Answer:

Explanation:Imperialism could be one of the causes of the Vietnam War due to the bidding of ideologies where South Vietnam was against Communism and North Vietnam was in favor. The United States through the authoritarianism and control imposed on these countries carried out military incursions in Vietnam, which caused malaise to the North Vietnam.

Such events brought with it the famous Vietnam War that began in 1955 and ended in 1975 and that resulted in the death of more than 5 million people and the disappearance of South Vietnam and, as it were, the defeat of the United States by part of North Vietnam.

The New Jersey Plan was the proposal for the structure of the US Federal Government. It was presented by William Paterson in 1787. It was presented to counter the Virginia Plan. His motive was to provide each state with one vote in the National legislature regardless of their size. Although the plan was rejected, it did impact the Great Compromise of 1787 which shaped the American Government in the way it exists today.
