Use the diagram to determine whether the statement is true of false
Murljashka [212]

Observe the above diagram.

1. G lies on \overleftrightarrow {EF}

Since, a line is defined as a line of points that extends infinitely in two directions.

So. EF line will also extend infinitely in two directions. Therefore, it is true that G lies on  \overleftrightarrow {EF}.

2. C,D and B are collinear

Points are said to be collinear when they lie on the same line.

Since, the points C,D and B does'not lie on the same line. Therefore, it is false that C, D and B are collinear.

3. D, C, F and G are coplanar

Points are said to be coplanar when they lie on the same plane.

Since, these points does not lie on the same plane. Therefore, it is false that D, C, F and G are coplanar.

4. D lies on plane M

Since, we can observe that point M lies on the plane M and N . Since, our statement says that D lies on plane M which is true.

Therefore, it is true that D lies on plane M.
