Moe paid $223 for buying computer.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Cost of computer = $1056.00

Let,

Amount contributed by Larry = x

Amount contributed by Moe = y

Amount contributed by Curly = z

According to given statement;

x+y+z=1056      Eqn 1

x=y+150            Eqn 2

y=z-237            Eqn 3

Putting value of y from Eqn 3 in Eqn 2

x=(z-237)+150\\x=z-237+150\\x=z-87\ \ \ Eqn\ 4

Putting value of xx and y from Eqn 3 and 4 in Eqn 1

(z-87)+(z-237)+z=1056\\z-87+z-237+z=1056\\3z-324=1056\\3z=1056+324\\3z=1380

Dividing both sides by 3

\frac{3z}{3}=\frac{1380}{3}\\z=460

Putting z=460 in Eqn 3

y=460-237\\y=223

Moe paid $223 for buying computer.

Ani spent a total of $7.53 at a store. She bought some cereal for $3.67. She also bought 6 peaches.
Ratling [72]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

It says she spent $7.53 at the store and she bought (SOME) cereal for $3.67

so we have to find how much the 6 peaches cost. To find it out we are going to have to subtract the cereal she bought from $3.67 and the money she wasted total so its going to be D.
