The problem is that as a consequence of the excessive population growth of the last century, the extinction of some non-renewable resources has accelerated. Therefore, the control of global population growth is necessary for the sustainability of the production of resources by nature, to avoid the scarcity of them that could produce major economic crises and outbreaks of poverty. Lastly, the overexploitation of resources caused by population growth has begun to affect the different animal and plant species of the different ecosystems of the planet, seriously affecting its biodiversity.
