Inner story is told by the character's own mind. It shows his opinions and thoughts from the perspective of his mind. What does he think, what does he feel about the subject is shown in the text. We can observe such story-telling in the tale of three rioters.

In the tale, Pardoner shows irony. Because he preaches against greed, at the same time he admits tricking the most guilty sinners. The Pardoner talks about the extortion of the poor and failure to live accordingly by teachings against jealousy and avarice. Therefore, correct answer is B.

Title: Help and you will also receive help

Picture 1:

It makes me smile when I think about this memory even a year later. It happened in an unexpected place and I was surprised at my own actions. One hot day, I was on my way home after going to a job interview. I was thinking of meeting my uncle for lunch first so I took alternative route through some neatly-cut grass to reach the shopping mall. To my surprise, my eyes spotted something unusual on a patch of grass.

Picture 2:

Curious, I went nearer to the object and realised it was a wallet. I picked it up and opened to see the contents inside. The wallet contained money and important identification documents belonging to the owner.

Picture 3:

I was tempted to take the cash for myself and discard the rest of the wallet's contents. However, good overcame the greed in me and I looked for the address in the identification card so I could return the wallet to the owner. When I reached the address, I found him looking anxiously for something outside the door. I called to him and asked what he was looking for. He told me he had lost his wallet so I showed him the wallet I had found. His face lighted up as he checked the wallet's contents and verified it was the wallet he had lost. He was pleased at my honestly and we had a short chat. I told him I was looking for a job as it was hard these days at job interviews. This young man turned out to be a manager of a big company that I had tried to apply for but got rejected. In return for my good deed, he offered me a job there. I landed a job at a company I liked and it was the best day I ever had.

The last one "he makes a wish of eternal youth without considering the consequences of his actions" is ended with a question mark but it isn't phrased as a question and should be ended by a period instead. The fourth sentence is the correct answer.
