Answer:

(1) x-y-2z=-6 , (2)  3x+2y=-25 , (3) -4x+y-z=12

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply (3) by 2,

-8x + 2y - 2z = 24

subtract above equation from (1)

9x - 3y = -30 --> 3x - y = - 10

subtract above equation from (2)

3y = -15 --> y = -5

Put y value back into (2)

3x + 2(-5) = -25 --> 3x - 10 = -25 --> 3x = -15 --> x = -5

Put x and y values into (3)

-4(-5) + (-5) - z = 12 --> 20 - 5 - z = 12 --> 15 - z = 12 --> z = 3

Hope its right good luck!!

For membership to an athletic club, it costs $110 to join and $25 per month of membership. Write an equation to show the situati
lord [1]

Answer:

110 + 25x = Total Cost (or any type of variable needed, like a,b,c, etc.)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the monthly fee occurs more than once, and we don't have the number of months, we put an x to represent the amount of months. The $110 is the one time additional fee for the membership, so it doesn't need a variable.

I need help with this question for my revision! Please help and tell me how to do it also!

Well that depends if his exam board rounds his percentage up, lol.

So Bhavik needs 93% to get a level 9.

I'm going to assume that he got 89% on both his papers, (but it could be any two numbers that average to give 89%, e.g. 88% and 90%.)

Assuming that he gets 100% for his last paper (which is very unlikely), the mean value would be (89% + 89% + 100%) ÷ 3 = 92.67%.

92.67% isn't quite 93%, and it's also very unlikely for him to get 100% on his last paper (when you take the results of his last two papers in to consideration).

So the answer is no, it's not possible for him to achieve a top grade overall. He's going to have to stick with a level 8.
