What were the immediate and long-term effects of using the atomic bomb?
Allisa [31]
The immediate effects are easy. Miles of city would be leveled and all inhabitants of that area would be almost instantly killed. The long-term effects would be there would be so much radiation your body could go through nasty mutation and you'd need to be treated if you survived but if don't survive you'd have a long agonizing death. on its quest of manifest destiny, the united states needed to negotiate with what country to obtain the oregon territory?
jolli1 [7]
The correct answer is Great Britain

The territory around Oregon was controlled by the Great Britain who still had control over territories north of Oregon. The US started negotiating with them and made the Treaty of 1818 in which a joint occupation of the territory was announced where they would work together to organize the land because of things like fisheries or the spreading lumber business or similar things.
