Answer:

a: euphenism

Explanation:

Press secretaries must have a very good knowledge of how to use the appropriate words. In this occasion, in order to find a way to avoid embarassment resulting from a lie,<em> he tries t</em><em>o minimize</em><em> what he had declared</em> before, so he employs an euphenism, by using and comparing the expressions "operatrive statement" and "inoperative" instead of acknowledging: <em>"I was wrong when said that."</em>

The passage above from Article 1, Section 7 of the U.S. Constitution reflects the principle of CHECK AND BALANCE.

The legislative branch is tasked to make the laws, the executive branch is tasked to make the laws official and executory, the judicial branch is tasked to review the laws based on its constitutionality and oversee the court system.

These separate branches have their own duties and responsibilities but they all share the same power. The power of any one branch is checked and balanced by the other two branches to ensure that no abuse of power is committed.

What might a conversation between a roman child from the upper class and a roman child from a lower class look like.
AleksandrR [38]

Social stratification created a huge drift in the Roman society.

Explanation:

Roman people never equal social strata. some were inferior while some were superior. Social categories were based on money, power and authority. An upper class Roman child may enjoy all comforts but the lower class Roman child will satisfy its hunger by eating bread made of cheap flour. Plebeians were common people in Rome. Kids of Plebeians never went to school and the women had no rights in ancient Rome.

Patricians are people who belonged to noble family. Kids of Patricians went to school. They were taught by their parents or an educated slave, The poor worked very hard to make both ends meet.  Another very important part was a trip to the baths, even on holy days, but the baths were only for Patricians.
