Answer:

Option (B)

Explanation:

The tropical rain-forest and the tropical savanna covers the same region but they are characterized by certain differences between them. The tropical rain-forest lies in the tropical region where the temperature remains relatively high and also receives the maximum amount of sunlight, thereby favoring the growth and expansion of a large number of plants and animal species.

The Savanna are the grasslands that covers most of the region in the tropical areas. There are comparatively less number of tress in this region. It provides the minerals and resources that are essential to all the living organisms that exist in that region.

Both the tropical rain-forest and tropical savanna maintains a warmer and constant temperature ranging from about 20° to 30°C. In winter, the temperature decreases by only a few amount. In addition to this, they both are comprised of vegetation cover and good number of forest canopies. The tall trees in the savanna are scatteredly oriented whereas in the tropical rain-forest they are arranged closer to one another forming dense forest.

Thus, the correct answer is option (B).

Explain WHY photosynthesis and respiration are NOT able to create a cycle of energy?
jeka94

In a plant cell, photosynthesis and cellular respiration can both take place simultaneously. Plants carry out both photosynthesis and cellular respiration during the day. Cellular respiration continues because it provides the energy required for essential cell functions.

What role of photosynthesis and respiration in plant?

Water and carbon dioxide are changed into oxygen and glucose during photosynthesis. The plant consumes glucose and produces oxygen as a byproduct.

Oxygen and glucose are transformed into water and carbon dioxide during cellular respiration. By-products of the process include carbon dioxide, water, and ATP, which is turned into energy.

To power cellular respiration, photosynthesis uses the energy it produces. During photosynthesis, solar energy is used, collected, and stored in the bonds of glucose molecules.

Therefore, photosynthesis and respiration not involve energy formation cycle.
