Answer; 3
During World War I, developments in military technology led to the use of poisonous and submarine attacks.

Explanation;
The major impact of technology on World War I (WWI) was that it made the war much more difficult for the infantry soldiers who did most of the fighting. The new technologies led to trench warfare and the lack of new tactics led to massive slaughter at the hands of the new technology. These new technologies includes, the use of trench warfare, Poisonous gas, tanks, submarines, and command and control among others.

If it runs with a velocity of -3 m/s for 3 seconds and then a velocity of 2 m/s for 4 seconds, what is it's displacement?
dexar [7]

Answer:

The displacement from the given data is 17 m.

Explanation:

Given;

initial velocity, u = -3 m/s

time of motion, t = 3 s

final velocity, v = 2 m/s

time of motion, t = 4 s

The initial position is calculated as follows;

x₁ = ut

x₁ = -3 x 3

x₁ = -9 m

The final position is calculated as follows;

x₂ = vt

x₂ = 2 x 4

x₂ = 8 m

The displacement is calculated as follows;

Δx = x₂ - x₁

Δx = 8 m - (-9m)

Δx = 8m + 9m

Δx =  17 m

Therefore, the displacement from the given data is 17 m.
