Decrease in population of Native Americans, racial divides, and European countries gaining more wealth and territories. Another one is an increase of Christians, many consequences of colonizing were good, many were bad. Some good things that came out of it was that there was more knowledge about the world, and it led to a greater geographical knowledge about the world. An example of this is how the Americas is named after Amerigo Vespucci, who was able to map out South America by the coastline and was the first Europea to discover that North America and South America were two different continents.
