The area of a square is stored in a double variable named area. Write an expression whose value is length of the diagonal of the
melisa1 [442]

Answer:

sqrt(area)

Explanation:

  • Here sqrt is a short form of square root.
  • area is a variable name having he area of square.
  • When the function is called, it will give the square root of the value stored in variable area.

As we have to find the length of the diagonal, we must knew that as all sides of the square are same in length so are the diagonals. This means that each of the four sides of the square and it diagonals are equal in length.

So a square has: length=breadth=diagonal

As  Area= length*breadth

√area = length           (as length = diagonal length)

So     √area = diagonal length

If i don't update my computer what threat does my computer face?
Nadusha1986 [10]
Hey there! Hello!

Computer updates, especially smaller security updates, contain security information for new bugs, malware, viruses, etc. that have been written since your last update. So many of these are written for computers at any given time, meaning that keeping your computer updated is a significant step in keeping your computer's defense systems working. Paired up with legit anti-malware, virus protection software, good computer knowledge, and common sense, your computer can remain very safe from these viruses.

Otherwise, there might be some bug or irregularity within your computer's system itself that was accidentally released an update or two ago by the creators of your computer's software, which may also pose a threat for your computer system. Updating your computer can most likely fix problems like these. But, more commonly, they just keep your computer up to date on the vicious computer threats that are now available for it since the previous update.

Hope this helped you out! Feel free to ask me any additional questions if you have any. :-)

You should check your battery ___________. Every week Never Every six months Every 30,00 miles
vova2212 [387]

The answer is Every six months

A battery acts as the brain of a car and is used to power almost everything. It can last up to five years. However, this lifespan will depend on how well the battery is maintained and the type of weather conditions you live in. Aim to check your car battery at least twice a year. Actually, it is best to check your battery regularly and not to wait for your mechanic to test your battery during routine servicing.
