The problem says that line TQ is 18 units. The little red line through TQ and TR means that both lines are the same, so TR also equal 18 units.

We can solve for x in the equation for TR :

2x+10 = 18
 Subtract 10 from each side:

2x = 8

Divide both sides by 2:
x = 4

Because TQ and TR are identical, RS and QS are also identical so we can replace X with 4 in the equation for QS:

9(4) -11 = 36 - 11 = 25

RS = 25 units.

How to write 6.716 im fraction
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

To write 6.716 as a fraction you have to write 6.716 as numerator and put 1 as the denominator. Now you multiply numerator and denominator by 10 as long as you get in numerator the whole number.

6.716 = 6.716/1 = 67.16/10 = 671.6/100 = 6716/1000

And finally we have:

6.716 as a fraction equals 6716/1000

Carla wants to start a college fund for her daughter Lila. She puts $63,000 into an account that grows at a rate of 2.55% per ye
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We would apply the formula for determining compound interest which is expressed as

A = P(1+r/n)^nt

Where

A = total amount in the account at the end of t years

r represents the interest rate.

n represents the periodic interval at which it was compounded.

P represents the principal or initial amount deposited

From the information given,

P = 63000

r = 2.55% = 2.55/100 = 0.0255

n = 12 because it was compounded 12 times in a year.

Therefore, function, C(t), that represents the amount of money in the account t years after the account is opened is

C(t) = 63000(1 + 0.0255/12)^12t

C(t) = 63000(1.002125)^12t

For C(t) = 100000,

100000 = 63000(1.002125)^12t

100000/63000 = (1.002125)^12t

1.587 = 1.002125)^12t

Taking log of both sides

Log 1.587 = log 1.002125)^12t

Log 1.587 = 12tlog 1.002125)^

0.2005 = 12t × 0.00092

0.2005 = t × 0.01104

t = 0.2005/0.01104

t = 18.16 years

Solve for the positive value of x: 6x2 – 54 = 0
n200080 [17]
If you would like to solve for the positive value of x, you can do this using the following steps:

6 * x^2 - 54 = 0      /6
x^2 - 9 = 0
(x - 3) * (x + 3) = 0
1. x = 3
2. x = - 3

The correct result would be x = 3.
