1 milligram = 1/1000 gram

Therefore:

500 milligrams = 500/1000 gram = 1/2 gram

500 half grams fit into 250g, as 500 * 1/2 gram = 250 grams.

Therefore, there are 500 vitamin C tablets in the bottle.

The median is always at the center of the box, we can say the median of our question is also at the middle of the box.

What is a graph?

A graph is the representation of the data on the vertical and horizontal coordinates so we can see the trend of the data.

The description of the measures given has been done below and also what they indicate about the shape of the box and whisker plot have been given.

From the given data we see that;

Mean = 39,500

Median = 20000

Mode = 23000

Minimum = 15,000

Maximum = 255000

A general view of a box and whisker plot has been attached.

From the attached file, we can see the following;

- whiskers to the left and right of the box.

- The box starts from the lower quartile and stops at the upper quartile.

- The median is at the middle of the box

- The minimum is at the end of the left whisker

- The maximum is at the end of the right whisker.

1) Now, since median is always at the center of the box, we can say the median of our question is also at the middle of the box.

2) The median is 20000 but the minimum which is the end of the left whisker is 15000 while the maximum which is the end of the right whisker is 255000. This means the minimum is very close to the median and as such the left whisker would be very short. In contrast, the right whisker will be very long since the maximum is far larger than the median.

3) Since the right whisker is far larger than the left whisker, then we can say the shape of the box and whisker plot is heavily skewed to the right.

LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

see the procedure

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

m∠1+m∠2=180° -----> supplementary angles (form a linear pair)

we have

m∠1=27° ----> given problem

substitute the measure of m∠1 in the equation above and solve for m∠2

27°+m∠2=180°

Subtract 27° both sides

27°+m∠2-27°=180°-27° ----> by subtraction property of equality

m∠2=153°

Answer:

a)Null hypothesis:\mu =40

Alternative hypothesis:\mu \neq 40

b) A Type of error I is reject the hypothesis that \mu is equal to 40 when is fact \mu is equal to 40c) We can commit a Type II Error, since by definition "A type II error is the non-rejection of a false null hypothesis and is known as "false negative" conclusion"Step-by-step explanation:Assuming this problem: "Some college graduates employed full-time work more than 40 hours per week, and some work fewer than 40 hours per week. We suspect that the mean number of hours worked per week by college graduates, [tex]\mu , is different from 40 hours and wish to do a statistical test. We select a random sample of college graduates employed full-time and find that the mean of the sample is 43 hours and that the standard deviation is 4 hours. Based on this information, answer the questions below"

Data given

\bar X=43 represent the sample mean

\mu population mean (variable of interest)

s=4 represent the sample standard deviation

n represent the sample size

Part a: System of hypothesis

We need to conduct a hypothesis in order to determine if actual mean is different from 40 , the system of hypothesis would be:

Null hypothesis:\mu =40

Alternative hypothesis:\mu \neq 40

Part b

In th context of this tes, what is a Type I error?

A Type of error I is reject the hypothesis that \mu is equal to 40 when is fact [tex]\mu is equal to 40

Part c

Suppose that we decide not to reject the null hypothesis. What sort of error might we be making.

We can commit a Type II Error, since by definition "A type II error is the non-rejection of a false null hypothesis and is known as "false negative" conclusion"
