I believe the answer is 31.1 since, it’s a square it’s equal on all sides, so you used the Pythagorean theorem to final the missing diagonal side, so 22^2 plus 22^2 = c^2
That would give you 968 =c^2, square both sides, you’ll get 31.1

Heng was trying to factor 10x^2+5x. She found that the greatest common factor of these terms was 5x5x5, x and made an area model
Nitella [24]

Answer:

Width = 5x + 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Area = 10x^2 + 5x

Length = 5x

Required (Missing)

Determine the Width?

Area is calculated as:

Area = Length * Width

Substitute values for Area and Length

10x^2 + 5x = 5x * Width

Factorize the right hand side

5x(5x + 1) = 5x * Width

Divide both sides by 5x

5x + 1 = Width

Hence, the width of the model is 5x + 1
