is also called the "fruit" of the fungi. It starts out as a small
button and grows into stalk and cap. The cap becomes larger and unfolds like an
umbrella.

Variations are beneficial for the survival of the species. Populations of organisms fill well-defined places, or niches, in the ecosystem, using their ability to reproduce.However, if some variations were to be present in a few individuals in these populations, there would be some chance for them to survive.
I mean there is a lot of evidence that evolution has happen but i think if someone were to say it was false they would be getting into a religious beliefs. So I would say if you are using evidence than no it cannot be proven false. Hope this helps(;
