Mikayla says that air is an element since it has oxygen in it. Jose says that air is a mixture because each part of air keeps it

s properties. Grant says that both Mikayla and Jose are wrong, because air is a compound. Who is correct and why?
A) Only Jose is right because air is made of different kinds of molecules that each keep their own properties.

The answer is d, since air is a muxture of compounds. a way to differentiate between a muxture and a compound is to see it it is a word you would say normally. for example, you would say air on a normal day. however, you wouldn't say carbon monoxide on a normal day.
