Free rider problem

Mancur Olson identify that passivity on the part of individuals who
benefit from the work of activists but who do not join it or support it
in any way. He called the problems the free rider problem.<span>In order to overcome the free rider problem, he suggested that interest groups and civil rights groups should give material benefits to the members only.</span>

Athens was a democratic society and the epitome of democracy. Democracy began in Athens with the reforms
made by Solon where everyone was given the Right to vote and created a court of
appeals to examine cases. Sparta on the
hand was dictatorial state where people were divides into the Spartan citizens,
free men of trade and the helots or slaves.
Citizens were required to serve the military and only the fittest were
allowed to live in Sparta. Both states formed democratic government and
dictatorial government.
People in the early Tehuacan Valley lived gathering. They were hunter-gatherers. They hunted animals for food and cultivated their food especially maize.
<u>Explanation:</u>
- The Tehuacan culture belongs to 5000 BCE – 2300 BCE. It is located in the southeast of Puebla which belongs to Central Mexico.
- Maize was first domesticated by these people. Maize domination was high during in this culture. Many dams and canals have been built by the people to collect water for maize cultivation.
- This made the people make their settlements in this Tehuacan valley. "Cradle of Maize" is the other name for Tehuacan valley. It is because the maize was first domesticated here.
I would say Latin America. this is because I've went to many southern American countries and I have to say though many things were beautiful, there was lot and lots of beggars, and many poor things happening
