A year later after the beginning of the 1812 War, which was a military conflict between the British Empire and the US, a great number of white population moved Westward and settled down on the West lands of the country. The factors that motivated those settlers to live there were the opportunities which could be possible to achieve by working the land as well as the lure of silver and gold. However, the native population that still remained on this side of the country  was not one of the positive factors which encouraged people to settle down. Despite of this, the Westward movement allowed the government to push the natives far away.
