Answer:

The mentioned characteristics of the Cardiovascular system in this exercise are:

- One nucleus

- Striated

- Involuntary

- Intercalated Disks

Explanation:

All right, let's explain why all those characteristics are from the cardiovascular system.

First of all, the majority of the cardiovascular cells are build by only 1 nucleus. therefore, TThe cardiovascular system alls into the first one nuclei characteristic. Second, the cardiovascular system is managed involuntarily because we don't decide how to pump the blood and distribute it in the body, also it is controlled by the medulla oblongata in the brainstem right under the hypothalamus. These parts of the brain control the involuntary functions of our body. The cardiovascular tissue is also striated because its organization is defined by the I, and A bands which are layers of cell constituted by different proteins which provide them different colors. granting it the striated appearance. Finally, it also looks like an intercalated disk because the cells that build the cardiovascular tissue are inside collagen fibers and other substances so it can develop it's contraction movements.

Answer:

cardic muscles: are present only in the heart .single cell is not very strong by itself, millions of cardiac muscle cells working together are easily able to pump all of the blood in the body through the heart in less than a minute. Cardiac muscle cells have a branched shape so that each cell is in contact with three of four other cardiac muscle cells.

characteristics of cardic muscles: one nucleus ,striated, involuntary, branched and joined to one another by intercalated discs that contain gap junctions for depolarization between cells and hold the fibers together when the heart contracts.

IrinaK [193]

Answer:

functional groups

Explanation:

Functional groups are molecules with specific atoms and have their own chemical properties when attached to some other substances. Glucose is a simple sugar and has an aldehyde group (CHO) as its functional group. The presence of CHO in it makes it be present in food without any harmful impacts. On the other hand, hexanoic acid has COOH (carboxylic group) as its functional group. COOH group has a tendency to donate its protons and become ionized. It is toxic as it is reactive and tends to affect the pH of the food or solution in which it is present.
