Answer: d. When he first enters the banquet hall, Macbeth appears cheerful.

Explanation: Subject-verb agreement means that the verb and the subject must agree in number, this means that if the subject is singular the verb needs to be also singular, and the same applies when the subject is plural. We must be careful with the final "s" in the verbs conjugated in the third person of singular (he, she, it). In the given sentences the option "a" is incorrect because the subject is "Lady Macbeth" (she) so the verb should be "walks", in the option "b" the correct it should say "Banquo, not Fleance, is killed" because the subject is singular (Banquo), the option "c" should be, "Fleance, without Banquo, escapes" (because the subject is Fleance), and the correct answer is "d" because it says "he first enters" and "Macbeth appears".

The correct answer is D. When he first enters the banquet hall, Macbeth appears cheerful.
Subject-verb agreement means that the subject and the verb must agree in number - if the subject is singular, the verb has to be singular as well; if the subject is plural, the verb should also be plural.
A is incorrect because it should be 'walks,' B is incorrect because it should be 'is,' and C is incorrect because it should be 'escapes.'

Where is one place in the world you would like to visit? Explain why you would want to visit this place, and what you would want
sineoko [7]
I would one day love to visit France. Not only is it’s beauty overwhelming but the history and cuisine calls me. I’d of course want to travel to Paris and see the sights but I’d also want to indulge in as much food as I could possibly eat. I imagine waking up on a bright yet foggy Sunday morning, and walking to the local café for a hot cup of coffee and a pastry of some sort. Then for lunch I’d walk amongst the other busy people to a big restaurant, somewhere with a great view. So perhaps, I’d choose to go to Le Tréport. Amazing views of the transparent yet blue tinted waves crashing up against the rocks with power and emotion, as if they were alive! Lastly, for dinner. I’d go to a small, family owned kitchen, and ask the waiter for their favorite dish on the menu. Not only do I feel that France can bring out the creativity in someone, I feel that it brings out ones spontaneity. I would love the darker, more negative side of me to disappear as my creativity and love for travel flourished in France!
