The norming stage of group development is a stage of development of bonds and group identity. It is in this stage that the group develops a sense of synergy and the structure of the group solidifies. When members are in the norming stage of development, they have a feeling of togetherness and have a common set of expectations and feeling that they can accomplish more as a group than individually.
