There is some evidence that suggests that providing PEP after a potential exposure to HIV can help reduce a person’s risk of HIV infection. However, we also know that PEP is not 100% effective, meaning that it will not prevent all HIV infections. Hope it helps!!

post-exposure prophylaxis. PEP for short. It involves taking medicine after contact with HIV.

Treatment must begin within 72 hours. PEP is only available from a healthcare provider, emergency room, urgent care clinic, or HIV clinic.

It is not 100% effective. And follow-up

HIV testing is required

According to this diagram, which statement best describes
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

Cliques are part of a larger social network.

Explanation:

According to social sciences, a clique is a group of people that interact one another and have similar interests.

This social phenomenon is most seen during adolescence, because each age tend to represent a social group, a clique. In addition, cliques are often formed by similar social status, or ethnicity, or by stereotypical characteristics, as being athletes, nerds or outsiders.

So, all those characteristics make cliques part of a larger social network. Mainly because these groups are formed inside a complex social system, bigger and away from simplicity and interacting with cliques is part of the social development.

Answer:

Heart attack

Explanation:

They could be many conditions. However, with that medical history (diabetes and high blood pressure) it would be easy to think of a heart attack. Since patients with diabetes are more likely to suffer and this probability increases at a more advanced age, and if the patient manages high blood pressure, his heart works too hard to pump the blood, which can lead to the breakdown of one of the plates and thus form a clot. The interruption of blood flow can damage or destroy a part of the heart muscle causing a myocardial infarction (heart attack). Among the warning symptoms is pain at the level of the heart valve, chest pressure with a feeling of discomfort and being full, as well as diarrhea.

Explain why you think the Triple Aim programs have been successful.Based on the success of the Triple Aim initiatives, recommend
Ainat [17]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

I think the Triple Aim programs have been successful because they were planned by experts of health services in America.

Based on the success of the Triple Aim initiatives, I would recommend two strategies I would take to improve the implementation of health care quality initiatives within your organization (or an organization you are familiar with).

The first strategy would be the permanent training and continuing education programs not only in medical expertise but in human and public relations to have an excellent relationship not only with the patient but with the family of the patient that is very involved in the process of healing too.

The other strategy would be a reduction of the costs of providing health services to the community. What I would do is to ask for donations or the sponsorship of bib and medium-sized businesses in the community that could help reduce the amount of money people need to pay for medical services. Unfortunately, today, the health industry has become a lucrative one that does not think of people's needs first. In simple terms, it is a business.

The challenges I would face will be the reluctance of many companies in sponsoring this idea. They are business too and they like to get some lucrative terms that favor them.

Another challenge could be medical employees' disposition to learn new concepts on customer relationships and human relationships, thinking these are a waste of time and they are not their main role, just thinking that they have to train in their medical specialty.

However, the opportunities are big too. To change the way medical services are approached and give people a chance to get professional and good medical attention at affordable costs.

At least, that is the framework of the IHI Triple Aim Initiative: to improve the patient experience, to improve the health of the people, and to reduce the costs of the service.
