Write $\frac 15+\left(\frac 15\right)^2+\left(\frac 15\right)^3+\left(\frac 15\right)^4$ as a decimal
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

0.2496

Step-by-step explanation:

what you could do is make the all the 1/5 into 2/10's.

then you could multiply all of them (2/10) squared (2/10) cubed and (2/10)^4

now you would have 2/10 4/100 8/1000 16/10000

now you can change it into decimals and add

0.2 +0.04+0.008+0.0016

now all you have to do is add when you do you get 0.2496

there are many ways you could do this problem but this is the most efficient becuause I used another way but it was not helpfull.

Answer:

C) ∠LMO = 50°

Step-by-step explanation:

When you add the degrees of all the angles in a triangle, you get 180, so...

180 = 60 + 70 + x

180 - 60 - 70 = x

x = 50

45% of the student body at a local high school work part-time. 80% of the students who do not part-time love math whereas only 6
Mama L [17]

Answer:

71%

Step-by-step explanation:

I think the easiest way to think of this is to pretend that there are a total of 100 students at the high school, so that means the amount of people who work part time is 45% of 100 = 45 people. If 60% of those students love math, you do 0.6 * 45 = 27 people.

Next, 80% of the students who do not have a part time job (100 - 45 = 55) love math, so 0.8 * 55 = 44 people.

44 + 27 = 71, so the percent is 71/100 = 71%.

let me know if any part of that doesn't make sense

55) A dilation of scale factor of 4 will produce a congruent figure<br>True or False
vivado [14]

Answer:

False

Step-by-step explanation:

When a figure is dilated by a scale factor of 4, the new figure produced will be 4 times the size of the original figure. This means that, the size would change while the shape remains the same as the original figure.

Congruent figures must have the same shape and size.

Therefore, the figure produced when a dilation of scale factor of 4 is done is not a congruent figure. Rather, it is a similar figure.

So, get statement is FALSE.
