Answer:

We can say that the French Revolution of 1798 was the most important political change that would take place in Europe taking place at the end of the 18th century. The importance of this revolution did not lie in the obvious change for France; and this revolutionary example would later serve other countries that were also immersed in social conflicts marked by authoritarian monarchical regimes.

At that time, during the eighteenth century, certain philosophical branches had already emerged that were trying in some way to challenge Divine Law. Ideas that little by little were penetrating with greater force and shaping the Enlightenment, based on principles such as reason, equality and freedom.

On the one hand we had the authoritarian figure of the monarch and the nobility, who brought together all the power of France. On the other there was a new bourgeoisie that began to acquire more and more importance in the economic field and sought to gain greater political power.

On the other hand, the king's waste was still frequent, something that undoubtedly twitched the mood of a starving people even more.

I don’t know if this will help you But here is what I got about the Mexican American War.

The Mexican-American War (1846-1848) marked the first U.S. armed conflict chiefly fought on foreign soil. It pitted a politically divided and militarily unprepared Mexico against the expansionist-minded administration of U.S. President James K. Polk, who believed the United States had a “manifest destiny” to spread across the continent to the Pacific Ocean. A border skirmish along the Rio Grande started off the fighting and was followed by a series of U.S. victories. When the dust cleared, Mexico had lost about one-third of its territory, including nearly all of present-day California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.
