Here is your answer:

7.48+x=2.44+x 7.48 + x + -1x = 2.44 + x + -1x x + -1x = 0 7.48 + 0 = 2.44 + x + -1x 7.48 = 2.44 + x + -1x x + -1x = 0 7.48 = 2.44 + 0 7.48 = 2.44 7.48 = 2.44

Which would mean that this equation has "no solutions" or the first option.

Hope this helps!

1) 0 (or NO) solutions is your answer.

Solve the equation. Isolate the x. Subtract x from both sides, and 2.44 from both sides

7.48 (-2.44) + x (-x) = 2.44 (-2.44) + x (-x)

7.48 - 2.44 = x - x

Subtract

5.04 ≠ 0

1) 0 solutions is your answer, because 5.04 does not equal 0.

hope this helps

Joy makes 6.5 litres of soup, correct to the nearest 0.5 litre. She serves the soup in 280 ml portions, correct to the nearest 1
Kazeer [188]

Answer:

Joy has not enough soup

Explanation:

If Joy is serving correct to nearest 10 with  280 ml maximum.

Maximum soup served by her in one turn = 290 ml

Number of people she is serving = 22

 Amount of soup required = 22 x 0.29 = 6380 ml = 6.38  L

 Amount of soup she has = 6.5-0.5 L=6 L

Amount of soup she has < Amount of soup required

So, Joy has not enough soup.

PLEASE HELO ME AND EXPLAIN PLEASE. AND PLEASE SHOW IN STEPS!! i will mark brainliest if you get it correct!
Dimas [21]

Step-by-step explanation:

The height of the swipe card is given by :

h(t)=-3t^2+15t+18 .....(1)

We need to find the maximum height of the swipe card and the time to reach the maximum height.

For maximum height, put dh/dt = 0

So,

\dfrac{d}{dt}(-3t^2+15t+18)=0\\\\-9t+15=0\\\\t=\dfrac{15}{9}\\\\t=1.67\ s

It will take 1.67 seconds to reach the maximum height.

Now, put t = 1.67 s in equation (1).

h(1.67)=-3(1.67)^2+15(1.67)+18\\\\=34.68\ feet

Hence, the maximum height of the swipe card is 34.68 feet and the time to reach this height is 1.67 s.
