If AJKL = ARST, which congruences are true by CPCTC? Check all that apply.
evablogger [386]

Based on the CPCTC theorem, the congruences that are true about the given triangles are:

B. ∠K ≅ ∠S

C. KL ≅ ST

D. JK ≅ RS

What is the CPCTC Theorem?

According to the CPCTC theorem states that if two triangles are congruent to each other, then, all their corresponding parts will be congruent to each other.

Given that triangles JKL and RST are congruent to each other, therefore:

∠J ≅ ∠R

∠K ≅ ∠S

∠L ≅ ∠T

JK ≅ RS

KL ≅ ST

JL ≅ RT

Therefore, the congruences that would be true by CPCTC are:

B. ∠K ≅ ∠S

C. KL ≅ ST

D. JK ≅ RS

Dermine which of the four levels of measurement (nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio) is most appropriate.
Otrada [13]

Answer:

Option A Ordinal

Step-by-step explanation:

The most appropriate level of measurements for this category is ordinal measurements. The ordinal measurement allows for the ordering of the data but differences cannot be found for them or finding differences is completely useless using this measurements.

Find the midpoint of the segment with the following endpoints (2,4) and(8,8)
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

(5,6)

Step-by-step explanation:

just answered a similar question for you a while ago so I have updated by response to match the different values:

the midpoint formula is

(x1 + x2/2) , (y1 + y2/2) <-- both the x1 and y1 coordinates also are divided by 2

so to solve for the midpoint, we take our endpoints and plug it into the formula

we will list the coordinates as the following to plug it into the formula:

x coordinate 1 = 2

x coordinate 2 = 8

y coordinate 1 = 4

y coordinate 2 = 8

substituting these values into the formula we get this:

x =(2 + 8/2) , y = (4 + 8/2)

x = 2 + 8 = 10/2 = 5 which is our x coordinate for the midpoint

y = 4 + 8 = 12/2 = 6 which is our y coordinate for the midpoint

in an ordered pair it would be (5, 6)
