One of the five reasons young drivers, age 16 to 20 are involved in more collisions than older drivers is lack of personal driving experience. Young drivers are considered to have less personal driving experience than the older which results in more collision.

EXPLANATION:

A fatal car accident is one of the biggest causes of death in the USA. Based on the data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, six USA teenagers die from a car accident every day. Young drivers, especially males age of 16-19 are at a greater risk of a car accident than any other age group of drivers. At least, there are several major factors of young driver collision which is still related to their lack of personal driving experience.

Here is the list:

• Inexperienced driving

Drivers who just got their driving license less than two years are considered to be an inexperienced driver. They are not prepared to acknowledge and react to certain dangerous situations when driving. Car accidents are also high during the first months after getting the license. Thus, young drivers need more time to get a personal driving experience.

• Distracted driving

Driving needs full concentration, the tinniest distraction will lead to a fatal crash. Distracted driving, for example driving while eating, using a mobile phone, chatting with the passengers, and turning the radio will lessen the drivers focus so that it can lead to disaster. Young drivers are also prohibited to drive while under the influence of alcohol because it can turn into fatal car accidents. Driving under the influence of alcohol is one of the most dangerous activities that cause injuries.

• Reckless driving

Drivers are very emotional and enthusiastic. Sometimes they don’t realize that their activity dangers themselves. For example, is driving in a full-speed which leads to an incident. It is considered reckless driving where male teens are having a higher risk of being involved in a car crash than female teens. Other reckless driving which is dangerous are street racing, tailgating, lane changes, and illegal turn.

Explanation: Self talk is referred to as simply talking to oneself whether silently or aloud. This is an internal dialogue that is influenced by the subconscious mind, and it reveals thoughts, beliefs, questions, and ideas. It can be both negative and positive, encouraging, distressing etc.

Vygotsky explains that private speech stems from a child's social interactions as a toddler, then reaches a peak during preschool or kindergarten when children talk aloud to themselves.

Imagine that Athens was destroyed after its loss to Sparta. How might our perspective of Ancient Greece be different if this had
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

Greek city-states developed different forms of governance with very different political structures and strengths.

Greek colonization led to the spread of the Greek language and Greek culture, but it also resulted in tensions with the neighboring Persian empire, culminating in the Persian Wars.

Athens developed democratic institutions and a culture of philosophy, science, and culture; it emerged as a powerful state and allied with other city-states, forming the Delian League.

Resistance to Athens’ power among the other Greek city-states, particularly Sparta, prompted the Peloponnesian War.
