In mitochondrion
Mitochondrion is a spherical or ovoid shaped membrane-bound organelle that is located in the cytoplasm of almost all eukaryotic cells (cells with true nucleus). Mitochondrion is responsible for cellular respiration and production of large quantities of energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) within the cell. Acetyl CoA formation, the citric acid cycle, and the electron transport chain which are steps of cellular respiration all occur in the mitochondrion.
It’s a producer because it produces for itself and the environment

Answer:
The processes of digestion include six activities: ingestion, propulsion, mechanical or physical digestion, chemical digestion, absorption, and defecation. The first of these processes, ingestion, refers to the entry of food into the alimentary canal through the mouth.
Accessory organs: Liver: produces bile salts
Small intestine: Mixes chyme with digestive juice
Stomach: Mixes and churns food with gastric juice
Mouth: Ingests food; Chews and mixes food

Answer:
A scientist made the claim that genetic inheritance of a mutated gene is more beneficial to an organism over time and contributes to biological fitness. They would make this claim because over time genes change to adapt to their surroundings and this is called evolution. Overtime environments change and the organisms living in them have to adapt or they will more than likely die. A mutated gene can contribute to biological fitness by giving the organism certain characteristics that could help it survive longer. Also, organisms with higher fitness pass more copies of their genes to the next generation which prevent the organisms from going extinct all together. In conclusion, a scientist would make this claim because over time genes need to mutate in order to survive in a changing environment.
