I've literally been trying to get an answer for over an hour, please help :( "The United States was effective in containing the
LiRa [457]

Answer: This answer is difficult. The United States fears communism, and set out to contain it around the world. During the Korean war, you could say the allies were successful containing communism due to the 38th parallel being created. But at the same time, they couldn't wipe communism out of all of Korea. The same goes for the Vietnam War. Another example is the failure of The Bay of Pigs invasion. The U.S failed in creating an uprising against the communist Fidel Castro. The U.S also could not keep China from becoming communist. But, you could say the Soviets failed in spreading communism because they were not able to spread it all across Europe.

Based on a historical perspective, the Whiskey Rebellion affected the federal government because "<u>It strengthened the role of the president as the commander in chief."</u>

The Whiskey Rebellion occurred following American Independence as a new nation.

The Whiskey Rebellion occurred due to tax imposition on Whiskey In 1794 by the United States Congress.

However, the rebellion was suppressed when President George Washington personally led the United States military troops to stop the rebels in western Pennsylvania.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the correct answer is option A. "<u>It strengthened the role of the president as the commander in chief."</u>

What were the states before they were independent?
Rasek [7]

Answer:

The Great War for the Empire, 1754-1763 (otherwise known as the French and Indian War, or in Britain as the Seven Years’ War) eliminated French power from North America and extended British power to all territories east of the Mississippi river.

Ironically, the completeness of the British victory set the scene for the elimination of British power from what would become the USA a mere two decades later.
